Overview
Lowepro’s Magnum DV 4000 AW shoulder bag is designed for pro video and built on the foundation of its predecessor: the original pro bag designed in 1976 and an industry standard to this day. Think of it as the essential toolbox for the videographer who needs to work right out of the bag: it’s super-accessible, configured for video, portable and protective. The internal dividing system features a long main compartment with a flexible structure to fit a variety of uniquely shaped equipment—from a video camera and microphones, to lighting devices and accessories. An extra-thick interior base offers additional protection for the sharp metal baseplate on most video cameras. On the exterior, a premium molded base offers sturdy and stable protection, water-resistance and the ability to stack multiple bags securely and efficiently. The bag features a dual-winged lid with double zippers, quick-release buckle and hook/loop closure, providing fast access to main compartment, plus extra security. Lowepro’s patented All Weather AW Cover protects gear from the elements and tucks away in a zippered pocket when not in use. The Magnum DV 4000 AW includes Lowepro’s patent-pending Vertebral Tech™ Shoulder Strap—it provides comfort and spreads weight evenly—no matter how it’s worn. Its Vertebral Tech design features a patent-pending a spine-like structure imbedded in a double layer of EVA foam padding that bends to conform to the shape of a shoulder and spreads weight evenly. Additional features include: wrapped and padded center handle; removable video accessory pouch; 2 roomy side pockets; fast-access front pocket with multiple compartments and 2 key clips; 8 SlipLock attachment loops throughout the exterior; durable metal hardware and YKK zippers; a trolley sleeve; and adjustable handcart straps on the back panel.
